Ran across a Sharp medium duty commercial microwave. Does anyone have a commercial microwave? What do you think? Will it hold up better?

Yes, I have a Sharp R-21LCF. It's considered light duty commercial. I particularly like it because it has no buttons - just a dial that you set the time with. Additionally, no feature to set the power percentage - I view that as a plus. Very easy to clean. My family (six kids) has been using it hard for 4 years or so and we have not had any trouble at all.

doc: Thanks for the reply. I may just give this a whirl. It will be put on a under counter recessed shelf right in my work triangle. I'm assuming the weight of it will make it easy to just grab the handle and pull it open?
|
Yep - just grab the handle, pull and it pops open. I do not have it locked into the cabinet in any fashion. It does not slide around when opening the door. Good luck!
