Hi kjreif, I'm doing the same thing in my remodel, but will install a Sharp R1214 microwave. The upper cabinet will be 15' deep, and 28 3/8' high plus moulding and crown to still run even with the adjacent light rails. The MW when mounted will be one additional inch out over the 24' counter below. Has some nice features, including its own hanging utensil rod, suspended in the back and below.
