An interesting question, Seems to me that there will be three kinds of people who might answer your question.

Those for whom too much is never enough.

Those who do very high-heat cooking and find that the higher-capacity burners of the RNB allow them to expand their repertoire.

Those of us (like me) for whom the so-called "pro-style" 15k-btu sealed burners (ala Wolf, DCS, NXR etc.) are fine for what and how we want to cook and for whom the 15k-btu burners of the RCS would be fine.

The latter two categories reflect distinctions of interest and personal preferences, not some objective "thou shalt have ...." rule.

So, what I want to suggest to responders is that the important thing is not just that somebody did or did not regret getting the RCS instead of an RNB, but that it will be most helpful to woodsidecook to get info on what and how you cook and how your preferences changed or were not met by the RCS having 15k burners. That will allow woodsidecook to assess the degree to which your experiences and preferences will relate to his/her own.

Btw, there may be reasons other than the burner size that folks may wish they had gotten an RNB. One that comes immediately to mind is a design preference of being able to get the RNB in colors and another is that I have heard (but have not personally verified) that the RNB oven surface is somewhat easier to clean than that of the RCS.

Although we did not purchase a BS it was a contender, mostly because of the open high heat burners of the RNB. What helped me figure out that I did not feel these high heat open burners were necessary for our type of cooking was cooking on the range we did buy (a Lacanche). Doing so made me confident that I would not regret 'giving up' those open burners.

So my advice is to cook on an RCS - make an omlette, boil water, or cook what you normally cook and see if it feels like enough power. Even though it's a big jump in range quality (we will have a similar big jump from our 50+ year old electric range) cooking on it will give you a good feel for it and hopefully make you more confident in your decision.
