| I am in the process of selecting appliances for a new home. The builder has a contract with a vendor that doesn't carry a lot of the brands that I would like. Nevertheless, there are some decent discounts if I use them. One issue is the hood choice. I'm buying 36" Capital range top, 6 burner. They have suggested a Kitchen Aid 36" with 1200cfm. Does anyone have any experience with this hood, or know who actually makes it if it's not actually made by Kitchen Aid? I've only found one review that said the fan and light controls felt cheap and made of plastic. I'm also worried that there are only 3 fan speeds, with a 1200cfm blower. I'm already 2K into the hood with the required make up air system, so if I can save a little and get a decent hood I'd like to do so. Thanks for the help. |
