We will be replacing a refrigerator and a stove. The refrigerator is a white Amana 22ish cubic feet bottom freezer. LOVE the bottom freezer, however, the fridge sits up against a wall on the left and cabinets on the right. We had to have the door open to the left into the wall because opening it to the right the island got in the way.

Thinking we would either like to go to a side by side (we live out of our freezer), or to a french door style. We only have about 36" total width so it will have to stay in the 22-23 cubic feet range.

Also looking to replace a range. We have a smoothtop Whirlpool white stove. Looking for something a little nicer, but there will be a white Whirlpool microwave over it. We don't need convection or anything really fancy. We would like dependability and functionality.

I've done some research that Frigidaire and Maytag may be the best refrigerator brands (other than Kitchen Aid which is out of our price range). Suggestions? What are some good reliable range brands?
