I don't know who makes fridges for Fire Magic but they are supposed to be made in the USA.

If so not complete junk like the Chinese made stuff. If I were shopping in the cheaper price range I think I just might go with Fire Magic.

Be sure to check the "External Environment Specifications" for any outdoor Fridge you may be considering~~~~~IE, what is the highest/lowest external temperatures the outdoor fridge can operate in?

Example, (From the Firemagic Outdoor Fridge Owner's Manual).
"This fridge is not designed to be operated in an external temp of 55F or lower" .

If you can not find such specifications, (so far I have not been able to do so with SZ), then call the company for the external environment specifications and get it in writing!

There is a web-site for "Perlick Seconds", (Scratch/dent~~etc). Some "Good Deals" can be found on that site.

The better Perlick models have the Variable speed compressors and the Liebherr may too.

Thanks, I'll be sure to check the operating specs. What good is an outdoor fridge if it breaks when it gets cold?
Checked out the Perlick site, no outdoor fridges on the seconds page as of now. Several ice makers though, may have to think about that one.
