| I really want to have cabinets over my 28 1/2 Capital range that look like a mantel with cabinets across the top and down the sides, but the liner only comes 21-22 inches wide and that doesn't cover all the burners for the most adequate capture area. Anyone modified their Vent-a-hood liner or used another model with this cabinet style. I would prefer not to have the chimney style enclosed in wood. |

| I'm not exactly sure what you are looking to do (a little confused with the 21-22" wide part- do you mean deep? are you looking to make it deeper?) Just for reference- I took my Modern Air motor assembly and rotated it 90 degrees so it would fire out the back instead of up. All I needed to do was drill out some pop rivets/spot welds and make up a new sheet metal box for the motors to fit in. It works identical to stock and now the air goes directly to a wall cap on the out side of the house (I could not go up since there were pipes in the way). |
