| Has anyone else had a problem with the door latch failing on their KA dishwasher?
It was working just fine for about two weeks since installation, then lo and behold, the door won't latch. Called for warranty service and the day the tech was to come out, he called to see what the problem was. I tell him, he states "oh yeah..Whirlpool issued a recall for that latch, I've replaced a few dozen the past few months...I'll order a new latch, usually takes about a week" Anyone else see a problem with this logic? The old 'wait until we know it will fail, but won't head off a known problem until it happens', then leave you hanging for a week or two... grrrr.. |
