Ilve vs Capital Ranges

Posted by pgerino (My Page) on

I have narrowed my search down for a new range. I am considering either the 40" Ilve or the 36" CC range. Does anyone have an opinion on either range. I am struggling with these 2. I love the rotisserie option on both. Love Ilve temp range 75-500. Just can not find may reviews of the Ilve and mixed reviews of the CC.

RE: Ilve vs Capital Ranges

It seems to me that Trevor, (Eurostoves), at one time carried both
LLve and the Capital brands.

Seems like I saw a post where it was said, the LLves is no longer carried by them, and Trevor may have said something about it in a post, but I can't recall it right now.

I would try a "Shoutout" to Trevor or call him up.

There is no better place to buy the ranges, (assuming Eurostoves is allowed to sell in your area).

Try a search for llve at the bottom of the main appliance page here or google iives garden web.

I posted a link below for you.
It shows an Eurostoves associate cooking on an llve, on Utube.

Good luck with the hunt!

RE: Ilve vs Capital Ranges

This is a tough call, the Ilve and the CC are in my mind totally different ranges, the main ares are noted below

Looks French vs Pro Style
Open burner vs Sealed
Duel Fuel vs All Gas
Self Clean vs Manual
Two ovens vs one oven
Oven lowest 75 vs 117

Very difficult to say which one will fit you the best because so very different, I think it depends on what from the above list of differences you would prefer to have....
