Who loves their 5th burner?

All but the cheapest ranges in the stores seem to come with the latest fad - the continuous grate and the 5th burner with a griddle. My top pic now is the LG LRG3093ST. I'm thinking this 5th burner on a 30 inch stove is just overkill and something to get dirty.

What do you think about your 5th burner?

As I am remodeling and giving up my old Montgomery Ward Tappan Bisque Range - which has just simple knobs - no electronics and 4 burners but never lets me down.
