| I Have a 5 yr old GE Profile double oven free standing gas range. Ever since I've had it it's always made a pop sound when I turn on the oven an the gas tries to get going. I heard this is probably called delayed ignition. Sometimes the burners won't come on until a few tries later.
Also all the burner caps are deteriorating as are the knobs. I looked on the site and each one cost around $40!!! That means I would have to replace 11 things around $40 each =$440 no thanks! I do like the unit but those little glitches freak me out like it's going to cause a gas leak and explode. I went to their website but it doesn't look very helpful. Is there any hope for any of this to get resolved? |
