New Wolf All Gas Ranges -- Any Info?

Posted by 2nixon (My Page) on

We are about to purchase Wolf's 30 inch all gas range. It will be one of the new models, and being concerned about purchasing the initial iteration of a new model, I was curious if there are any early reports / reviews from folks that have already purchased one. Any insight at all (good or bad) will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

What I heard from my appliance guy was that the new AG is now just the same as the dual fuel has always been, only with a gas oven. Wolf supposedly made the change for economic reasons, now most parts are interchangeable etc. So while it's a new model, It really isn't a new range, it's the old DF, but with a gas oven.

There have been changes to the gas oven in the new model, as it no longer uses a glow ignitor, but rather a spark ignitor.
