Lacanche Sully or Wolf 60' DF... your experiences needed!

Hi. I tried to post this before but somehow it didn't work. We are building soon and I am trying to decide between the Lacanche Sully or the Wolf 60" DF. I would really love to hear from people who own one or the other and what you like or dislike about them. For Sully owners, is it a problem that the gas oven does not have convection? Can you still bake on both racks? Also, who fixes them if they break? Do you think the module with an 11K BTU in front and 5 BTU in back (did I mess up there?) is powerful enough for your purposes? Does the convection on the electric oven work well? What I love about the Wolf are the many 15K BTU burners and the 22 inches of space to configure. What I love about the Sully is the styling and color choices. Would sure love to hear from owners of both. (My friend only had her Wolf for 2 years before the whole inside had to be replaced, but hopefully this is not a common problem.) Thanks in advance!

Happy Wolf 60" df range owner here......we built in 2007 when the top was only available in one layout: 4 burners, griddle, grill, two burners.....I love it. No problems, no service calls....I cook a lot and often, and I use it all. The Wolf's beefy / strong look works very well in our Coastal Mediterranean style home in So Cal.

Good luck with your build.

I own a Lacanche cluny that I have been extremely happy with. I would post your question in the Lacanche thread and the wolf thread (Don't know if there is a wolf thread). That way you will get info from people who own these stoves.

Thanks Joe. (I'm a little new to this.)
