Cost of ductwork?

I want to install a hood in the area that does not have a duct. There is an attic above that is quite close to the roof as one of the two walls surrounding the area is an outside wall and the roof is sloped.

As I have skept the Construction 101 course in college (LOL), I am totally clueless what putting a duct there might cost.

Do you know what kind of expense that might be (just a ball-park or a range)?
