| The 36" GE Monogram and Profile induction cooktops seem to be exactly the same except for the style of the burner outline ring color and button shapes. I looked at all specs and compared user manuals and can't find a difference. Why is Monogram $1000 more? Any comments on Profile? |

| I did the same comparison on the 30" models and concluded the same thing. Unless you want the light/reflective color instead of black that's an (even more expensive) option only on the Monogram, can't justify the higher price at all. |
