Not sure about the Miele warming drawer, but my panel Dacor warming drawer is not soft close, so it requires more muscle to pull out than a regular kitchen drawer. I have a bar pull on mine, which works fine. A finger pull might be more difficult to use. Good luck! (Love the sound of your clean modern walnut cabinets -- can't wait to see photos!)

Does your pull bar match all the others in there?

This time I noticed the instructions say "The warming drawer is fitted with a self closing device" but nothing about opening it. They also mention pre-drilling the custom panel for the handle so it looks like that may be the answer to that question.

We also can't wait - the project started on July 4th and I had to completely rebuild the kitchen, formal living room and family room. No floor joist or wiring survived, 24' of load bearing wall was removed, 8' ceiling raised to 11' high side / 8.5' low side and plumbing and HVAC were heavily modified. 100% DIY except for things that weighed more than I can lift. There's a thread in Kitchens with a lot of the ugly behind the scenes stuff that has to happen to do this sort of project but in April once it's complete I'll make a new thread for it.

Our bar pull matches all the others in the kitchen. The warming drawer is completely camouflaged. Unlike yours, it does not have a self-closing device. That makes it sound as though yours may be easier to pull open than mine, in which case a finger pull would work fine.
