Fisher Paykel and Bertazzoni 30" gas ranges

Looking at posts about Fisher Paykel and Bertazzoni, I'm ready to flee to a Frigidaire slide-in or GE Cafe, but cannot get past the looks factor. The Bertazzoni would make me smile every morning! It's beginning to seem to me that all the well designed 30 " gas ranges have noisy oven fans and heat blowing into the kitchen. Is this really such a problem? I'm in a city apartment where the small kitchen is fairly open to the dining/living area. Is the GE Cafe so different in terms of use? Bertazzoni versus Fisher Paykel? Help, please! Any thoughts/experiences greatly appreciated.
