5 seconds seems a bit long, mine take a second or two, about two or three "clicks" of the igniter. Check to see how far the igniter is from the gas outlet, this could be your problem. The tip of my igniters are about 1/4" from the nearest gas port.
5 seconds with the gas on and no flame is likely the reason you can smell it.

Thank you, i'll check that when i go back to the house (we didn't move in yet) If they are too far, can i just bend them to be closer?

i took a video but i can't see the igniter thereâ¦.What do you think, does it click too much? First couple of times it took even longer, i think

Your burners look/sound fine to me. In the video it took 2 seconds to light with about 8 clicks - perfectly normal. DO NOT BEND the ignitors - they're fragile and you can damage them. A faint gas smell when you first light burners is also normal particularly if you turned them off after only 30 seconds.

Two things.
1) Your turning the knob to far, only make a 1/4 turn left.
2) Put a pan on the burner prior to turning the knob.

Do both of the above and it will light in 2 clicks

Yes, your video shows about two seconds, looks normal.
As trevor says, turn to high to light, then adjust down from there.

BTW the grate on that burner needs to be rotated 90* to set flush. It is set up on a higher level in the video, (unless you knew that)

...And if you didn't know, they can also be raised higher, by rotating 45*
