Maytag Jetclean Dishwasher - Surrounding Cabinet Issues

I have a Maytag JetClean dishwasher that was purchased and installed in July 2011. It's the type that fits inside a cabinet slot. At the end of November we started to notice a little rippling on the bottom of the side cabinet that houses the unit. Now there's a large light black mark in the MIDDLE of the cabinet and the wood at the bottom of the cabinet is black and ruined. The hardwood floor is fine. The unit has a vent on the top front, so that particular vent isn't an issue. Had the factory service folks come out under warranty to fix this problem. Ran diagnostics and pulled dishwasher out and tested it. Couldn't find anything wrong. We had a new GE dishwasher there prior for 3 yrs. and this was never an issue, the panel was pristine. Anyone have a similar problem? BTW- the dishwasher works really well! Ruining the cabinet - not so great!
