Oven light stays on

I just used my oven (fairly new Whirlpool electric range WFE371LV) and during pre-heating, I noticed the oven light was on. I didn't think that was normal and now the baking is done and the light is still on.

Any clues what could be wrong? The door seems to be closing okay.

After the oven completely cools, I will unscrew the bulb to loosen it so that I don't wear out the bulb, but am hoping there might be something simple I can check.

Try turning the circuit breaker off for the oven, for a couple of minutes, then back on.

"Many" of these new ovens, control the light through the main CPU board for the oven, so if it gets "Glitched" strange things happen, like a light not going off.

Awesome! It worked. Kinda like a reboot. Thanks so much.

    OMG, DUH, DUH, DUH...

There is an Oven Light button on the control panel right under the Bake button. I must have pressed it unknowingly. I didn't even know I had such a button.

Embarrassing myself so others may see this and save some time.
