Dual Fuel Convection Oven under $3000 ?

I need to replace a GE Profile Dual Fuel Conv Range J2B918SEK1SS because it no longer maintains the temp that it displays. Lots of ruined meals. Lots of excuses from the repair man. I wish I were paid for the times he came here. I'd be rich. But still not right after replacing the electronic brain 4 or 5 times.

Requirements:

1) Under $3000

2) Dual fuel convection oven that has the highest BTU output on propane. I find that the largest burner on the GE is quite low heat. Don't know what BTU it is. Can they be drilled out a little?

3) 30" wide

4) backsplash model (?) Has the vertical at the wall.

Either Electrolux slidein or Bosch slide in if GE is not in the consideration.

I am hoping for more responses that have model numbers. The range I would like will have a warming drawer and be a free-standing model.

With regards to the response:
Control knobs on the Electrolux EW30DS75KS 30" look awkward and all the grates have rubber feet that melt down. The oven racks of the Bosch HGS5053UC are extremely thin metal. At $3,498.00 one would expect fairly heavy racks.

* * * A special note on GE * * *
The customer service department is about as informative as AT&T. In other words not at all. My GE J2B918SEK1SS came with warped burner grates. The replacements came broken 3 times because they were boxed in thin cardboard. Cast iron is brittle and needs special care in shipping. I replaced the main electric breaker panel in our house because the repair service blamed it as the cause for the brain failure. However, the brain failed twice after the main breaker panel was replaced. And the repair service replaced the control brain so many times they will not stand behind it any more. Sometimes the stove would not turn off unless it was unplugged. The clock was always wrong. Temperature regulation was quite bad. Basically anything the brain is supposed to do is done poorly or not at all. So, yes, I have a problem with GE. :-)

OK, you don't like GE, you don't like Bosch, you don't like Electrolux. You've ruled out most of the dual fuel ranges at that price point. That leaves KitchenAid and JennAir, both brands of Whirlpool. JA ranges just underwent a big redesign, and KA is going to go to the new JennAir design soon.

Glad to see how appreciative you are about the help{{gwi:807}} given. To sum it up they do not make what "you" are looking for. I know of the perfect model too. Good luck finding it though as I don't have a model number.
