I suppose you could cut from the DW budget some but sacrifice quite a bit of quiet and/or reduce from ovens budget but sacrifice some very usefull features. I would stick to above as it is close to ~$5k.

The similarity of the SS is not determined by the appliance manufacture since they don't make the SS but by the type of SS used. All the above appliances use the better 304 SS save one. The Broan Hood. It is type 430 SS.

A reputable hood brand in 304 SS is going to be at least $1k.Some generic Chinese brand may claim 304 SS but I would not buy it myself.But since the hood is not going to be right next to another SS appliance it should be ok. The 430SS is slightly darker with a slightly different grain. A cheapie MW is also going to be black,white,or 430 SS. But budgets are budgets :)
