| Just starting my remodel, and I am getting all new appliances..yea! BUT, it's daunting all at the same time...especially the prices. It's been 15 years since I priced anything so needless to say I am stunned.
I love to cook and bake. I don't have gas but that's fine with me. I need 30" electric cooktop over the cooktop microwave dishwasher double oven refrigerator thanks for any suggestions/guidance! |

| I'm in about the same state as you are! Overwhelming sometimes. I've chosen a GE Electric cooktop with a "bridge" I cook a lot and think it would be handy. A friend has one and really likes the "bridge" feature. You might check out Consumers Reports at the library (back issues) for pros and cons on various brands. |

| I can't comment on the cooktop, but I can recommend: Counter Depth Refrigerator: or the same refrigerator with different styling with the Kenmore Elite badging... Kenmore Elite 24.0 cuft Model# 4100 Dishwasher: OTR Microwave: Double Ovens: We have the Kenmore badged counter depth refrigerator listed above--I liked the handles better than on the Samsung version. We also have 2 of the KitchenAid dishwashers listed (Samsung 400 or 800 models were our backup choice). We have the GE Monogram double oven--the dealer said it is basically that GE Profile oven listed above with different styling--DH liked the pro look, so we went with Monogram. My sister actually has that GE Profile double oven in the biscuit color & loves it--she & I bake alot. My brother has the OTR microwave listed and loves it (we have the countertop version--it's nice & roomy and will even accomodate a large casserole dish if needed). Hope this helps & happy appliance hunting!! |
