Bosch 300, 500, 800 series gas cooktop

What are the differences between the Bosch 300, 500 and 800 series gas cooktops? Has anyone used a 300 series gas cooktop, and do you like it?

I have an opportunity to buy a 300 series gas cooktop for a great price. Is the 300 a great gas cooktop for cooking? Is the 300 considered a higher end cooktop?
My kitchen is relatively higher end. If I sell my house, would a discerning buyer perceive the Bosch 300 cooktop as a high end appliance or perceive it as cheap?

We bought the 800 (36" wide). The biggest difference in the 800 compared to both the 300 and 500 is a larger central burner (18,000 btu on the 800 vs 16,000 on the 500 and 14,000 on the 300) and brushed metal knobs (vs black plastic on the 300/500).

We've been very happy with our cooktop so far.
