| It looks like the lights on this hood are a bright yellow - is that really the case? It would affect our backsplash ideas, I think.

| Those are heat lamps, not lights per se. You will only need them on if you have something to warn, assuming you have a warming shelf. |

| AHA! Thanks! I don't think we have a shelf but I will ask DH. I must say I can't wait to get my CC range top! The best thing about our rental place is the gas stove, a real flame-thrower (11-year-old Viking) compared to the gas stoves I grew up with. But the sealed burners are weird. It's going to take a while to get used to a pan full of onions all browning along the outside with a clear circle of gently warming onions in the center. |
