| Wanted to post my thanks to those who indulged my many questions about whether I should purchase an induction cooktop unit to buy me time before embarking on a kitchen remodel. For those not familiar w/ my issue, my DF range needs replacing and I was torn between going w/ another DF, AG or induction. And whether to spring for a vent to replace the OR micro, etc.... I went with the 6500 Model which I ordered for $76 from Amazon. It took about a week to arrive and I've been using it these past several days. My morning 10-grain cereal cooks up beautifully in it. I just browned some bone-in chicken breasts on it (they're finishing in my Breville countertop oven) and I've got a tomato sauce simmering on it now. Love, love the simmer on this little unit. Induction works like magic. I know it's a short period of use to give a review, but I wanted to follow up with my thanks before it slipped my mind. |

| You got the 6500 for $76? That was a deal. Right now it is $206. |
