Washer Pedestal Install

Can I tip the Whirlpool Duet washer on its back to install the 15 inch pedestal with out the bolt kit that holds the tub during shipment? We've had the unit for a couple years and I'm told the bolt kits are nearly impossible to install after removal... Plus we can't find them or were never given them initially.

That's how I installed the pedestals on our Kenmore Elite (Duet) pair. We had had the washer and dryer for maybe a year when we got tired of having to mimic "The Gleaners" to load and unload the sawed-off duo.

I just tipped them over backwards carefully, bolted them to the pedestals, and stood them back up. No problems and no shipping bolts.
