Blue Star RNB Fanboy.

I've lived with my new Blue Star RNB304BVI for two weeks now, and if you're on the fence about a Blue Star, I say go for it. This thing takes names and kicks ass. You do not turn your back on it. But, that's the whole point of 22,000 btu burners, isn't it?

Before this, I had two different 36" Wolf ranges, one before SubZero and one after. This time, I had neither the space nor budget for a 36", so I grill outside again (even with our current 20" of snow on the ground) instead of using the built-in one in the Wolf. Other than missing that, I'd say the Blue Star is better built and better designed. The open burners are great (spills just collect in the drip pans), and come with two spare igniters. (Even after replacement, one of the igniters in the Wolf never really worked right.) Roomy oven. It's still spendy at $3750, of course, but you'll pay $4905 for a comparable Wolf. I expect to be as happy with the Blue Star after two years as I am after two weeks.
