| I've come to hate my 10-12 year old smooth top range. It's very slow! Ideally, I'd replace it with a gas range, but will have to settle for another electric. I hate the looks and cleanup of a coil range.
I found a smooth top Maytag MER8775A online for under $1000. It claims to have a 3200 watt speed element as well as a low-temperature self clean cycle using water. Does anyone have experience with this range or with the AquaLift cleaning feature? Any other recommendations? Could I find a good induction range for around the same price? |

| Check out GE's induction range. Posters on this site who have it seem to like it. GE has a website and I think it is listed under new products. The oven is one of the largest on any range. |

| I have that GE and it's great - fast, responsive, easy cleanup, and yes, the oven is huge! |
