What range hood would you buy in this scenario?

Hi. I've been poring through the forums here but haven't had much luck finding range hoods that are still for sale (old threads) or aren't overkill for our situation.

Here's our scenario. We are doing a light kitchen reskinning which included removing an ancient OTR microwave which we are replacing with a range hood.

30" electric GE smooth top range
hood needs to be mounted undercabinet
it's on an outside wall so it will be horizontal rear ducting
we cook often, sometimes searing; rarely frying; sometimes boiling or simmering for long periods of time (soups, stews and beer brewing)
good lights are important to us
quiet is important to us, since we'll use it often (high setting should be useable without ear protection!)
we'd like to spend under $800.

Any suggestions?

Can be vented to the rear
At 380 cfm 1 sone or 40db (very quiet)
At maximum 800 cfm 4.5 sones. Loud but rarely used.

Check out the Broan evolution
We also looked at several really inconspicuous hoods but decided on the Broan due to sound level and lighting

we have 36" AG Viking range & went with Zephyr under cab hood
6 yrs ago, very pleased w/it

I am looking for the same thing.

Does anyone have an opinion on:

Elica Bellagio Series EBL430
30" Bellagio Under Cabinet Range Hood with 400 CFM Internal Blower, 4-Speed Touch Controls, LCD Display and Halogen Lamps

$474 at AJ Madison and has good reviews.

Thanks everyone! I am leaning toward the Kobe CH 122 SQB (model :CH2230SQB) for its overall good reviews and relative quiet even on high speed. Now if only I can find it in stock somewhere....
