| I have a WindChaser electric fan with a membrane keypad. The off button has cracked and will not work so I have to unplug the fan for a short time to shut it off. Has anyone successfully repaired or wired around such a switch? I don't want to work on the whole keypad just the off button. |

| Why not just use a short cord small power bar with switch or a simple "on - off" power cord switch wired in closer to the fan? Avoids the possibility of the fan "dying on the operating table" while poking around the keypad. |
