We are interested in buying a Bosch double wall oven. Does anyone have any experience in these?
Thanks. |

| We had a Bosch double wall oven for 9 years. It was a model with convection in both ovens. The self-cleaning mode did burn out one of the convection heating elements. Replacement of the element was easy. I don't use self-cleaning on our new Dacor as a result of the experience with the Bosch. The Bosch did take some considerable time to pre-heat. And the fan was noisy. But oven temperature was even throughout and the temperature was steady. |

| If you try doing a search on this forum (search box is at the bottom of the page) for Bosch wall oven, you should get some good information. For myself, I have a single Bosch 500 series oven and like it very much. I don't find the fan noisy, and others have said the same thing, so it may have bene improved over the previous poster's older model. |

| The Bosches out now are completely different ovens than the older ones that were European styling and built in Europe. The new ones are bigger and with more features, but don't really have a track record yet. I tried to talk to salesmen and techs about them (different places and respected pros, not the blowhard kind), and no one could offer me much in the way of either complaint or reassurance, because they were too new. |
