We are considering the Broan E60E42SS wall mount hood with the 1200 CFM internal blower. I havent seen much chat concerning this hood. It comes with a veriable speed knob. Im guessing the range of operation does not start at zero cfm. I dont see a spec on the starting number. Im looking for anyone that is using a E60E series hood. Are you happy with it? Any regrets? Would you reccomend? Is it noisy? We were considering a Proline PLJW 102.36-48 Series That claims 1.4 sones at 400 cfm. Im leary of that one due to made in China and customer service issues. Anyone using one of those have any comments. Thanks for your imput.

We bought one, but it has not been installed yet. It weighs about 90 pounds. Baffles do not seem flimsy. I don't know anything about the variable speed to help you. Sorry, Peke

I pulled the trigger and ordered mine on Feb 14th. I hope i like it. Your underside view looks pretty impressive. I like the three lights and will try and retrofit them with LED lamps.

Before buying anything from Proline, one would be well-advised to check out their history with the Better Business Bureau.
