PermaClean finish on Dacor cooktops

I'm doing a kitchen remodel and replacing my Jen Aire solid surface cooktop with a 36" gas cooktop. I need a downdraft model and considering the Dacor Renaissance RGC365 or Distinctive DCT365. I'm concerned about the permaclean finish. I've read many complaints about not being able to clean stains on the finish. I was considering the 36"range but don't need 6 burners. However, it appears that the finish would be much easier to keep clean. I need to make a decision asap!
