Blomberg fridge runs every 30 minutes

Hi,

I have the narrow Blomberg fridge. It is just over a year old. Lately, I noticed that it has been running every 30 minutes even when the door a not opened. Setting is set to 2. When it runs, you hear this fast knocking sound and it does this fr 5 minutes then all is quiet again.

Has anyone experienced this? I don't know if this is normal or not.

Any advice on how to fix this?

So it's the compressor pump or a relay thats clicking. I would check the seals around the doors. If the temp is constant then cold is leaking out. If it's too cold because its running too much then it's a thermostat. I suppose you could have a coolant leak as well.And that might make the compressor come on more often.

It doesn't sound normal if it didn't have this problem for the first year.
