Electrolux Help

Like many others, we are in the process of choosing appliances for our new kitchen. Due to space constraints, we are limited to a counter-depth refrigerator, as well as a 30" cooktop. We are also looking for double wall ovens. We haven't seen a ton of opinions on the Electrolux products we are looking at and were hoping to solidify our decision soon.

The following are what we are considering

Electrolux Professional Series 30" Double Wall Ovens (E30EW85GPS)

Electrolux Counter-Depth French Door Refrigerator (EI23BC60KS)
KitchenAid Counter-Depth French Door Refrigerator(KFCP22EXMP)

Electrolux 30" 5-burner Gas Cooktop (EW30GC60IS)

We have not been able to see the Electrolux refrigerator mentioned, but are also leary of some of the reviews on the KitchenAid. Help - it's so difficult to know what you are getting.

We are not professional chefs, but do cook nearly all meals at home as well a bake bread, etc. We are looking for something reliable, but we don't need our kitchen to be worth more than the land it is built on! If there are other products we should be looking at, please suggest them.

Love our Elux refrigerator. It is 2.5 years old and works great!
I went induction, so no help there. If you search gardenweb a2gemini refrigerator- you should get some posts.
I think the Elux icon wall ovens are the sexiest things on the market and the regular ones a close second. I went with Wolf and GE but still ogle the flux.

I've had the refrigerator and a single "wave touch" oven for two weeks. I like them. The "perfect turkey" mode worked! I also have the Icon speed micro convection for my second oven, a dishwasher and an induction cooktop. The dishwasher is acting weird and I'm planning on calling E'lux in the morning, but the other two appliances are working fine. My old house had a Kenmore Elite induction cooktop that was made by Electrolux and that is still doing fine after 7 years.

    TeeDub,

Which refrigerator did you end up choosing? I ask because we're in a similar situation, choosing between those Kitchen Aid and Electrolux models (and possibly the -80 or -30 versions of the elux).

Also, if anyone else has a recommendation here, I'd appreciate it. I don't think anyone actually answered the original question.

I would love an update on how you like your Electrolux E123BC60KS refrigerator.

I just purchased one, but it won't be delivered for a few months (until the renovation is more complete). I've read lots of awful reviews about it, complaining about the water and ice mechanisms, but we won't be hooking up any water to this fridge, so I'm really hoping it will be AOK for us. It had the largest fridge capacity that I could find in a counter depth fridge.

Guess I'm looking for reassurance that this fridge is a good one, if you don't care about water or ice. I can still cancel the order.
