Convection Microwaves

Posted by Marion13 (My Page) on

I am losing my double oven so the purchase of my built in convection/mirco will be an important one. I want the features of a mircowave that can double as an oven when needed. Any suggestions out there? Thanks

If you really want to use it as an oven, the Miele Speed ovens are the best bet.

They are mini convection ovens with a microwave feature and a drop down door. They are the only ones to my knowledge that have bottom elements, a top broiler ( not a broil "feature") and a convection element just like a real convection oven.

They are $$$$$$$$$$$$$ though, so hold on to your wallet.

x2 on the recommendation for an Advantium. It's by far my favorite feature in our kitchen.
