Now we are considering a Wolf or BlueStar Rangetop

That is an odd pair of rangetops to be deciding between. They are nearly polar opposites in terms of features, strengths, weaknesses, target customers, etc.

Most of the complaints we see about Bluestar concern the gas ovens in their ranges, so I think the rangetop is definitely a safe bet. Their new electric french door wall oven sounds great, but there is no feedback since they have not started shipping yet. It is a gamble for sure.

I've had a 36" 6 burner RNB since 2010.
I can tell you there's nothing "flimsy" about it.
It's built like a tank and performs like a race car.
It is, as previously described on this forum, a box of fire.
It was the single best purchase I made when our kitchen was remodeled.

I have the 30" RNB but only since Dec 2013. My oven door is solid and opens easily, which I like. I don't have any complaints yet and love the look in my kitchen. Can't wait till the French door electric wall oven arrives and the new vent a hood so it all ties together and I can cook big!!

Just bought a Bluestar RCS 30" model. Best choice I've ever made. Love the open burner design and it's a joy to cook on....
