When I was in Sears, I walked over to the kitchen department, picked up a 9" cake pan, took it back over to appliances and tried to place it in the small oven. It didn't fit so it's off my list.

Wow, that's good to know. I've called their customer service trying to find the dimensions, but according to them they are not listed anywhere!

I am looking to replace my very similar Whirlpool. I have had it for 20 years and love it. I use the small oven for broiling. Great if you are only 1 or 2 people. The measurements of the big self cleaning oven are 22 3/4 w x 17 3/4 Deep, and 16 high. The smaller over in 10 1/4 w x 17 3/4 deep x 16 high. The smaller oven will fit a bread loaf pan and comes with a smaller broiler pan that fits. I love the empty space in the middle. I do not have the plate warmer. I do have raised burners.

I suspect the Frigadere and Whirlpool and Sears Brand are the same.

Nope, unless you meant functionally the same. Frigidaire has been part of Electrolux since 1986 and, IIRC, they made the most recent Kenmore 40" ranges. If you had a Kenmore and maybe needed parts to keep it going, you can identify the maker by finding the product identification tag where the model number will start with a three digit number that designates who made it for Sears. Finding a new 40 inch range is going to be tough. Whirlpool stopped offering them 12 of 15 years ago, and Frigidaire stopped offering them about a decade ago, IIRC. The only ones that I've seen of late come from overseas makers like AGA, Ilve and and Hallman, are mostly dual-fuel models rather than all electric, and very expensive..
