Range hood without motor

There is a discount appliance center in town that has a really nice kitchenaid range hood with no motor. How hard would it be to get the motor replaced? Who should I call to do this, appliance repairman? Is there anything else that comes in the box with a range hood, like mounting hardware or something? This is pretty much just the shell of the hood.

That's called a liner and it comes without an internal fan. It's usually used with an external fan (mounted on the roof or on the side of the house, or an inline fan that's mounted somewhere along the path of the ducting. Do you have ducting in place already? You need to plan out your venting solution before you start buying components.
