KitchenAid KBLS22KWMS refrigerator?

Does anyone have any experience with the KitchenAid bottom freezer 22cuft fridge KBLS22KWMS? I've only come across a few reviews and they are from 2011. Wondering if it's just old stock or no one has anything to say.

On a quick check it seems to be a Canadian model. Often they put a different number on essentially the same model, so that may be why you are having trouble finding reviews on it. Doesn't say it is discontinued at the Canadian site.

Kitchenaid is Whirlpool and are good fridges. Consumer Reports indicates frequency of repair is one of the best. It looks like an ice cube maker is optional. Most repairs for fridges are for the icemaker not the fridge.

I would suggest if it has the features you want and is priced right it should be fine. You may want to compare it to others with the Whirlpool name on it, or Kenmore which is probably Whirlpool also.

With Kenmore, it depends on the model. You have to look at them closely and compare to other makers to see who might be the Kenmore maker.

Yes, Kenmore is not always Whirlpool. It changes with appliances, and also over time. Sears doesn't try to make it a big secret anymore, and will tell you if you ask. Also, using the link below and the model number prefix is supposed to identify who is the manufacturer.

Here is a link that might be useful: Who Makes Kenmore?
