If they showed any signs of being able to be made scented, I'd guess maybe pomanders, but they don't have holes...

Sock darners? The pointy end would be good for toes.

Are they dished or spindle-shaped? it's hard to tell.

coleenoz, I have used them as ornaments or just put into a crystal bowl for show.

Lazygardens, I dont understand what you mean by dished or spindle shaped. They are a heavy glass almost egg shaped.

They looked like they could be shallow, pointy dishes if I look at them too long.

Impractical, but I thought of decorative weights for a bell pull or window shade.
