porcelain i d for my dad please

hi, wonder if any of you could i.d a couple pf pieces of pottery for my dad, he has had them on his mantlepiece for a long while, many thanks for any help.

They look new to me, but I am no expert.

Hi, as far as I can see they are both ginger jars. The first one is ovbiously Japanese and I believe the second one could be Japanese because of the mark.
I don't think they are very old probably second half of 1900's.
I am not an expert and could be totally wrong. If you look here you may find the marks which will give you more information

Both jars are beautiful and nicely decorated. The first one "peacocks" is spectacular. These may not be old, but are keepers.
