Identify Piano

Posted by april_may (My Page) on

I have a piano that I have had for over 20 years. I am not sure how old it is or even what kind it is. Can some please help me? It is an upright and from what I see the word Florence is on inside with a serial number 25421. There is also Boston so I assume that is where it is made. Any information you can provide would be nice. I am trying to get rid of it and have no idea how much to charge.

RE: Identify Piano

Have you contacted local piano companies? They have a book that has the serial numbers and their age.
Uprights do not bring much money- Usually around $300- $500 or so if the soundboard is not cracked and all the keys are operable.
