when/where was this bowl made?

I think this is a soup bowl. It has a nice little lid. I am assuming it is Japanese. Any ideas on age or region? Thanks!

Perhaps a tea bowl....have you looked on the gothenborg site?

Thanks Linda. The mark seems to be "fuku", which is sort of generic and uninformative to me. Hmm.

Did you look at Chinese marks?

It's a rice bowl. It's Japanese.
