Hello !

I recently bought this Northern Vietnam pair of crimsoned and gilded wood statues (60cm tall) of Samantabhadra (Phá» Hiá»Ân) and Ma�juÃÂri (VÃÂn Th�) supposed to be from a temple not far from the old capital of Hoa Lu, near Hanoi.
I am particularly surprised by the raw style of the white elephant and smiley blue lion. I would be pleased if anybody could share his opinion about age and style of these statues.
