I found this piece at a second hand shop awhile ago. It was sitting under a black light and exhibited the well known greenish-yellow glow of vaseline glass. I purchased it on a whim, simply because I liked the shape of it, even though I am not a vaseline glass collector. The base, however, puzzles me. It doesn't appear to actually match up with the top... To me, it looks like it might have been added at a later date... Having an almost 1970's feel about it, while the glass bowl appears to be authentic. Any thoughts?
