Has anyone ever seen this amazing lamp or the symbol cast into it

Hi. This lamp was found at an estate sale in Florida and any information or guesses about it would be greatly appreciated. The lamp is about two feet tall. Perhaps from the 1940's? The shade is not original so I did not focus on it. It is made of a cast tin or lead alloy and very heavy. The symbol is two crossed arrows over an olympic style torch. The makers mark on the back is not easy to read however I can only make out either FRAN or PRAN with the rest not cast well, maybe FRANCE or FRANKART? Beautiful lamp and very interesting.

I'm not certain but I'm thinking older than the 40's. Kind of has a nouveau look to me :0)

The crossed swords usually indicate a military officer, and the torch eternity (or, truth/knowledge). It may have been produced as a commemorative for a military death. If you type crossed swords and torch into a search engine, you'll get a number of hits where military have used this symbol.
