Tile top?

If the top is all wood, that is excellent inlay work! I can't tell by this picture. That could be lineolem, too.

The decoration is obviously taken from a rug (turkish?) or textile pattern. 1890's smoking room/library side table with a nod to the esthetic movement because of the Orientalist design. Though folks don't usually do this, I like to see these pieces paired with mission oak, because I hate to see a room done all up in the same severe wood.
