Can you post pictures that are in focus? I see a large brown blur.

It's a china cabinet. Armoires aren't glassed in so you can see all your clothes inside and a book case would have glass all across the front.
From what I can see...it appears to be from the 1930s. Might be walnut, can't see.
It appears to be quite "nice"...too nice for what you are using it for.
